Supported plans and files

The plan sets Quoflow reads best, and the jobs it leaves to you.

Quoflow reads the plans attached to quote requests and finds the doors in them. It works best with the kinds of plan sets your team sees every day.

What it reads

  • PDF plan sets, including floor plans with doors drawn and labelled.
  • Door schedules, whether on a plan sheet or a separate page.
  • Joinery details that show door sizes and types.

When a plan set includes a schedule and floor plans, Quoflow reads them together. Each door it finds is pinned to its position on the plan, so your team can check it at a glance.

Getting the best results

  • Send the original PDF from the architect or designer where you can. These are sharper than scans.
  • Scanned drawings work, but they work best at good resolution. Faint or skewed scans make small door labels harder to read.
  • Include every relevant sheet. If the door schedule is in a separate file, attach it to the same email.
  • Attachments can be up to 40 MB per email.

Jobs flagged for manual quoting

Very large jobs, such as multi-unit developments, are flagged to be quoted by hand. This is deliberate: those jobs often need decisions about staging, repeated unit types and site conditions that are better made by a person. The job still appears in Quoflow so nothing is lost.
