An email didn’t turn into a job

What to check when a quote request doesn’t appear in Jobs.

If you know a quote request arrived but there’s no job for it, work through these checks in order.

1. Did the email reach Quoflow?

  • Connected mailbox: check the Inbox page shows the mailbox as connected. If the connection has expired or been removed in Microsoft 365, reconnect it.
  • Forwarding: check the forwarding rule in your email is still on and points to the address on the Inbox page. Rules sometimes only forward mail that matches certain conditions.
  • Size: attachments over 40 MB per email can’t be received. Ask the sender for a smaller file or a link.

2. Was it sorted somewhere else?

Look in Tenders, Orders and Other in your Inbox. A request with an unusual wording, or one that mentions an existing order, may have been sorted as something other than a job. See How emails are sorted.

3. Was it merged into another job?

If the same site was already in Quoflow from another merchant, the request was merged into that job. Search your Jobs for the site address. See Duplicate requests and replies.

4. Were there plans attached?

Quoflow needs plans to find doors. If the email only contains a link to download plans, download them and forward the email again with the PDFs attached.

5. Has the AI spending limit been reached?

If your workspace has reached its AI spending limit, new emails aren’t read until an admin raises it.
