Connecting Microsoft 365

Connect an Outlook or Microsoft 365 mailbox directly, with read-only access.

If your sales inbox is on Microsoft 365 or Outlook, Quoflow can read it directly. New emails are picked up without anyone forwarding them.

Before you start

  • You need to be an admin in your Quoflow workspace.
  • You need to be able to sign in to the mailbox you want to connect, such as a shared sales address.
  • Your organisation may require a Microsoft admin to approve new apps. If so, see Why Microsoft asks for admin approval.

Connecting the mailbox

  1. In Quoflow, open the Inbox page.
  2. Choose to connect Microsoft 365, and sign in with the mailbox account.
  3. Microsoft shows the permissions Quoflow is asking for. Review them and accept.
  4. You’re returned to Quoflow. New emails start appearing in your Inbox shortly after.

What Quoflow can and can’t do

The connection is read-only. Quoflow reads emails and their attachments through Microsoft Graph. It never sends, deletes or moves anything, and it never marks emails as read, so your team’s Outlook looks exactly as it did.

Filing emails into folders is optional. It needs an extra permission that your Microsoft admin must approve. If it isn’t approved, everything else keeps working.

Disconnecting
An admin can disconnect the mailbox from the Inbox page at any time. You can also remove Quoflow’s access from your Microsoft account settings.
