Duplicate requests and replies

How the same site from several merchants becomes one job, and how replies find their job.

The same building site often arrives several times: once from each merchant pricing it, and again whenever plans change. Quoflow keeps these together so your team quotes each site once.

The same site from several merchants

When a new request matches a site you already have, Quoflow merges it into the existing job instead of creating another. Your team reviews the doors once, and you can still send a quote to each merchant who asked.

Quoflow looks at the site and the plans, not just the email subject, so the same job is recognised even when each merchant words their request differently.

Replies and updates

Replies to a request are linked to the job they belong to. If a reply includes revised plans, the job is updated and the plans are read again. Check the doors again before pricing, since sizes or door types may have changed.

If two jobs should be one, or one should be two

Matching works well on most residential jobs, but it isn’t perfect. If two genuinely different sites share an address, such as separate stages of a subdivision, check the plans before you quote. If you spot a job that was merged or split wrongly, email us with the job reference and we’ll sort it out.
