Customer pricing
Give particular customers their own prices or discounts.
Many suppliers have different rates for different merchants and builders. Quoflow applies the right customer’s pricing when it prices a job.
Where customer pricing comes from
- Business system. If you’ve connected your business system, Quoflow reads customers and their pricing from it.
- A customer pricing file. Otherwise, import an optional second file alongside your price list in Settings → Price list → Import.
Customer pricing file columns
| Column | Notes |
|---|---|
customer | The customer’s name, or their email domain (for example examplemerchant.co.nz). |
code | The product code from your price list. |
unit_price | A fixed price for this customer, in NZ$ excluding GST. |
discount_percent | A percentage off your standard price. |
Each row needs either unit_price or discount_percent, not both.
How a customer is matched
Quoflow matches the customer on a job using the sender’s name and email domain. Using the email domain is often more reliable, because every person at that merchant is matched at once.
If a product has no customer price, the standard price from your price list is used.
Check before sending
Customer pricing is applied automatically, but a person still signs off every price before a quote goes out.
