Reviewing doors

Check each door, fix what needs fixing, and mark the job as reviewed.

Every job is checked by a person before it’s priced. Quoflow does the reading; your estimator decides what’s right.

Reviewing a job

  1. Open a job that’s ready to check. You’ll see the list of doors beside the plan, with each door pinned where it was found.
  2. Go through the doors one at a time. Select a door to jump to its position on the plan.
  3. Check the room, type and size against the plan and schedule. Correct any size or type that’s wrong.
  4. Add any door that was missed, and remove anything that isn’t a door you supply.
  5. Mark each door as checked as you go, so it’s clear what’s left.
  6. When you’re happy with every door, mark the job as reviewed.
Nothing is priced before review
A job can’t be priced until it has been marked as reviewed. This keeps a person responsible for every quote that leaves your business.

Tips

  • Start with the door schedule if there is one, then check the floor plans for openings the schedule doesn’t list.
  • Look closely at robes and cupboards, where small openings are easy to overlook on any plan.
  • If revised plans arrive after review, the job is read again. Review it again before pricing.

After review

Once reviewed, the job is priced using your price list or business system, and the customer’s pricing. You can then export the quote.
